Holmes List commenced in October 1992 to service the influx of readers coming to the Bar. Paul Holmes identified a niche among the established Lists for an innovative List to meet the needs of younger, emerging Barristers. Today It consists of approximately 200 of the finest Barristers and Silk in Victoria.

Dever's List

Dever’s List is the oldest List of Barristers at the Victorian Bar, having started operation in 1860. In the last 30 years the number of Clerks has increased from 6 to 13 with the number of Barristers increasing from approximately 450 to 2200 as of 2020.

Young’s List

Young’s List is boutique and selective, because they insist on recommending the right barrister to suit the brief. Their barristers practise in all aspects of commercial law and commercial litigation, and pride themselves on their ability to give strategic guidance, ensuring the best possible outcome in any set of circumstances.
